Hob Wiring: Quick Question

Baumatic hob: manual says use 2.5mm2 H05 RR-F <HAR> cable (do they mean flex?) to connect.

Where do I get this, as none of the usual online sources seem to list it this implies it's not that common? Alternatively, can I substitute something else with same heatresisting ability? (same conductor size, obviously!)

At the risk of showing ignorance, why should I go with the rubber one specified, and not use some other type of heat-resistant flex, as long as it's up to the job, temp-wise? (and, obviously, conductor size)
