I'm hoping someone can suggest a tool for this job as I'm having a nightmare.

I have a 140yr old house with 2 1/2 foot thick walls. Now thats bad enough , but the wall is made up of huge bit of slate and other rock hard material. I am wanting to punch an extractor hole through them. the problem is that some of these pieces of slate are 18 inches wide , but nearly 3 inches thick and 18 inches deep. i just cant get through the darnn stuff!

I have looked at getting ventilation between where the roof meets the walls but there is no void there as the roof has an almost dormer type look to it and has no gap.

If you were instructed by a client to punch a hole through one of these walls what would you do /use ? Or would you run screaming ? :D

many thanks in anticipation

If there's no sign of a motor it'll just be a vent.

Could you bit put the vent through the roof? You can get lead slates that you can flash around a fku etc...someone else here will have a better descriotion
