The problem with Robots is number 5 may become alive!
I have seen too many attempts at home automation where safety seems to have gone out of the window.
Even with commercial products my mother had a stair lift fitted with an extendible leg. This leg had no safety switches and was operated from the top of the stairs which turned through 180° so leg was not visible from the operating station. Sound of the motor straining was only indication to if up or down and we did have some crushed items which had been left in the hall under the leg.
This is with what we think of as a well known manufacturer "Stenner" and fitted by their own staff. With DIY clearly it can get much worse.
