Having decided to build myself a greenhouse I visited a double glazing company [the owners of which I worked with many years ago when they were working for another company but have since set up their own business] with a view to getting some free second hand glass. However, I came away having been given a load of unwanted plastic window frames from a demolished conservatory. For these I ordered some new glass and for the roof was again given some 8' x 4' double skinned sheets of plastic.
The attached pics show the stages of construction and finished article. Being 90% PVC it is extremely warm and holds the heat great. Total cost - for posts and glass- about £70. It's great to recycle especially when most of the material is free. Cheers Mat G
