These seem pretty reasonably priced compared with the alternatives.

But has anyone detailed experience of fitting them?

I am interested to know how possible/easy it would be to slice a 45° angle off the frame to fit as they only supply them in discrete ( their choice ) sizes.

 45 degrees.......where.......how?

Not sure about Homebase but I expect them to be the same sort of quality (if not the same doors) as Wick's ones.
I have replaced a few of these within 2 years of being fitted by builders (probably didn't help that they were fitted poorly).

You can cut about 5mm of ribs off each side any more than this will compromise the strength of the frame but you would still need a 5mm gap all around (10mm overall on width) for expansion.
