i cannot get the central heating to work in auto mode on the valve. the hot water is ok but the only way to get the heating to work is to put the valve to manual position. i have changed the synchron motor twice but this has not helped. anyone got any ideas.
You need to prove the valve is moving beyond the mid position to the CH only position. If it does move as it should, you know it's not a wiring problem and you know it's not a stiff spindle.
That then leaves the other common problem , 'faulty micro switch'.
which prevents power leaving through the valves 'orange' wire to fire up the boiler. Changing the actuator head will then be the easy cure.
