Hello all

My first post in the forum in search of somehelp. I'm sure it's been discussed before but i could not find exact info.

I'm trying to wire my new Hive active heating receiver but can't work it out.

Please see attached pics and let me know which wire goes into the new receiver.

Many thanks in advanced.

Copy the wires over

Live’s on BDR to Live on Hive
Neutral's on BDR to Neutral on Hive
A on BDR to Common on Hive (number 1)
B on BDR to NO on Hive (number 3)

Thanks mate

on BDR, i have 2 x N ( blue cable ) and 2 x Live cables.. Im assuming both L/N cables will go together into L port in hive?

Yes mate, it appears to feed the boiler via the receiver from the fused connection unit.

Well, NO.

Good spot, that’ll teach me for skim reading. As per @EFLImpudence, no, do not do this as it will create a very big short circuit. All lives in BDR to Lives on Hive, all Neutrals on BDR to Neutrals on Hive.

Looks good to go. Edit: rather than tape the earth’s, Park them in the earth terminal.

Many thanks guys. New system is working perfect.

I will be going to my mom's now to install her system. Hope it's easy one.
