honeywell galaxy 2 alarm help!!!!

hi, I've recently bought a house and it has a honeywell galaxy 2 alarm system installed in the house & garage. two alarms, two keypads but they're linked together. The guy who used to live there was a alarm & cctv expert but has passed away so i can't retrieve any codes as his wife only knew the front door code. we had a power cut, then we reset the house alarm ok ( we have the code for that ) but the garage one is still going off as we don't have to code to silence it, so, basically, i want to disconnect & remove the camera's outside the house ( weird i know ), reset the garage keypad & the front door keypad so we can make our own password....does anyone know how i do this? especially as i don't know the garage code for the separate garage alarm & its constantly beeping inside the garage. ( we don't have any instruction manuals either )

It sounds like you need to call a local alarm company and get them to come and quote for this. They can also service the alarm for you and talk you through how it is configured.

Note that this is a professional quality system so information on resetting codes isn't generally given out on public forums. It also sounds like you have multiple groups configured, which may be more complex than you need.

Quick Google search finds the installation manual http://www.beacon-ni.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Honeywell-Galaxy-Series-2-User-Manual.pdf although its a lot to read so it depends how confident you are at the DIY route.
