Hi All

I have downloaded the Honeywell error codes list, and followed the instructions to sort the F5 error code i was met with this morning on my controller.
It ays F5 is a HW open circuit. I have changed the cables from base unit to actuator, and swapped the actuator [from the CH just to test], and still getting the F5 error.

PLEASE PLEASE, Can anyone out there help me any further as i dont think its worth me buying a new actuator as i have already tested one that works, and it doesn't when fitted the HW value

Thanks in advance
Andie

If it's not the actuator and it's not the wire between the actuator and the board, must be a faulty board then!

if you have an unvented cylinder , the thermal cutout may have tripped

that won't cause a fault and i think you have to use the smartfit cyl stat anyway. tbh i have no idea why people fit these stupid things
