when the heating and water is on(both red lights on to confirm)i've only got to slightly touch th unit or pull the flap down and the unit makes a single click and the heating light goes out, water light stays on,could this be a bad connection or faulty unit?

many thanks Terry

get a new unit. i think its only 2 screws underneath and tilt it up, fit is reverse. no need to wire or nowt like that.

oh and make sure you cut a slot for cable as per old unit.....youll wonder why it wont fit 'totherwise. jeez im going all northern t'day.

is it advisable to disconect the mains or can i just lift the front off.

many thanks Terry
