Hoover dishwasher faulty

Hi, can anyone please advise? I have a Hoover vision One dishwasher which is about 18 months old.
Just recently it will not do its full cycle.
It does fill with water although not very fast, then after about 20 minutes it flashes at the program light and continually beeps.
I have checked the water inlet (mains pressure) and all seems fine there, it also pumps out o.k.
I am a trained plumber but know little about the workings of the machine.
Any help would be great.

check the water heats up ( possible heater fault) ths would cause an error to flash up during the cycle

can you hear the motor running and the spray arms roatating . ( if not motor at fault)

eliminate these likely candidates first

I have the exact same problem with my Hoover dishwasher.
Can someone please tell me how to fix the heater? (the arms are working so not the motor)I am not a tradesman myself but I will certainly have a look at it.
