hoover washing machine

hi we got a hoover washing machine that when you put it onto a cycle which is no4 it does its cycle of filling and water pumps out in between but as it nearly reaches the final spin it justs stops and water is left in the drum and it dont go anymore, if we turn the dial to the next last spin sign it emties and spins ok to the stop where the door then opens, so any ideas plz on what this could be as i have checked all pipes and nothing blocking it as the water do pump out so know its not the pump,
it is only when it reaches the last spin cycle that it stops thanks smoggy

HI THANKS, just found out it was the crease button it was pressed in so when i unlocked it it then finnished its spinning and went to the stop and door opens many thanks smoggy
