I have a worster boiler with this timer, and the timer has died (or appears to have.)
I replaced it with a used unit, and still no joy.
Now..
I have 240V between L&N, so its getting power.
the L is looped to the heating and hot water switching.
The hot water and heating work when switched on manually, or if you turn the dial, am I right in thinking this second unit is a dud? and is there a test I can carry out on the timer unit to confirm this??

Ebay???

The Horstman Diamond 425 is Long obsolete your best solution would be to fit a wall mounted programmer adjacent to the boiler and wire it into the controls you should disconnect and bridge the wiring on the old one, not a job for DIY though!! ;)
