Hi,
I've recently been looking around my loft (had too much time on my hands over xmas) and can see some large steel? rectangular ducts runing oaround the loft space.
the house I'm in had hot air central heating when built which has been replaced by the more traditional hot water thingy since. these ducts in the loft are the remains of the old hot air system - i think.
question is, can they be safely removed by an amateur or would they need a specialist e.g. do they have anything inside them that need special treatment etc.
tia.
