Hi,

This is another problem that is bugging me amongst plenty of other DIY jobs i need to sort. We have a Baxi 105HE combi system. had it installed approx 6 months ago - outstanding heat from the rads and water compared to the old backboiler system we used to have.

Once small factor though that i only notice when i get in the bath, the hot water is only say hotish to the touch - you can hold your hand under there all the time no problem. however the hotwater tap in the kitchen is V hot and you can see the steam coming from that. Would rather it be the otehr way round.

Any advise on that ~?

Cheers

Bath tap is probably still connected with 22mm pipe. Combis prefer 15mm, less flow so hotter water.

Check to see if there is a mixer anti scald vv fitted under bath .

Its now comp to fit em on all new installs up here by order of the hollywood goverment.

Actually 1 of their better ideas to stop people particularly the very young old and vulnenerable from being scalded.

Some good points there me old china's - will investingate.
I love learning about anything to do with plumbing, should have got into this game years ago as i'm really interested. Shame i took up computers which do not normally give any indication to where the problem lies.
Does my head in.
