Hi

I have a rad in the bathroom thats running hot, even when both valves are nearly shut its still hot. Is just a faulty valve ? (as it will shut off completely).

secondly my combi boiler is a vokera linea 28 boiler, recently the pressure has jumped when running and falls when off i know it should stay between 1 and 1.5.

thanks for any help

If you have standard valves on the radiator, then turning these 'nearly off' will restrict the flow to the rad, but will not affect the temperature the rad feels. This is controlled by the boiler stat.

Normal operation of the pressure gauge on a boiler is to read about 1 Bar when rads cold and rising to about 1.8-2 Bar when hot, then dropping back to 1 or so when cooled down again.
