I have two peculiarities happening with my hot water system.
1) Ever since moving into my new house the boiler has kicked on and heated the water cylinder at 20:30 regardless of the programmer, and heats to the set temperature.
It also comes on when the programmer is set as expected.
Any ideas for stopping the random 20:30 burn?
2) More recently I have found the water temperature to be showing 71’C when the thermostat is set to reach 60’C only. This appears to be intermittent but clearly the water is being heated beyond the set temp. Presumably this is a gas burn as the electric back up is switched off.
Any help appreciated!
