Hi,
I have been away for a couple of months and just returned home a couple of days ago. I have a Range Powermax 140 combi boiler and I can get hot water but no central heating.
When I arrived back, I noticed that the pressure had dropped to around 0.6. I have re-pressurised to 1.5 but I still do not have CH.
Whenever I turn the hot water on, the burner light comes on. I have also bled all the rads. Could this be a pump issue? There are two pumps in the boiler, both are Grundfos pumps. The CH pump has a switch with 1,2 & 3 and is currently on 3. What does this switch do?
Any help would be great. I have searched the net for answers but I want to try and fix it before having to go to a plumber.
