Hot water diverter

Some time ago I saw an advert for a device which was plumbed into the hot water supply to the kitchen sink and diverted the water to storage for garden etc until the water reached a fixed temperature, when it diverted back to the sink tap. Does anyone know what this is and where it might be available?
