hot water intermittent on Ariston Combi

Hi All

Mother in law has an Ariston A24-MFFI Combi boiler, central heating is fine but hot water is working intermittently, is this a faulty dhw flow switch, as far as know there are no error codes coming up on the led and boiler does not lock out ?

Any advice would be truly appreciated.

By intermittent do you mean sometimes it fires up and sometimes it doesn't, or do you mean it fires up then, continuously, cycles off and on?

Thanks for the response, sorry didn't get back to you earlier, the boiler fires up as normal but sometimes hot water.sometimes not.
