Hot Water Intermittent

I have just had a new bath fitted and it seems i am having the same problem as my wetroom shower downstairs.

We are getting inconsistent hot water, it is hot for a short while then cold for a period of time before it get hot again.

This has been occurring in my wetroom shower for a while but not the sink.

And now my bath is fitted, the same is occurring in my bath.

I am baffled at what this could be and before i go out spend more money on this i thought it would be good to get some advice.

Could this be

1. Combi Boiler Problem (Valiant 835)
2. My choice in shower or taps
3. The way it is fitted.

1. Combi Boiler Problem (Valiant 835)

If the hot water pipe leading from under the boiler goes hot and cold at the same time, it's a likely culprit.

If the boiler is delivering constant hot water then the most likely culprit will be sticking non return valve/s normally found in showers but could be any outlet.

Oh dear!

You now say it is only the wet room!

Please try to be consistent.

You need to feel the boiler hot out pipe as advised earlier!
