Hey guys

Gas engineer diagnosed a problem with the electrics for a boiler that would only fire up for 10 seconds and then shut down showing a flame failure error code.

Electrician came round and sorted the wiring out in the house.

Now the hot water works OK but I get the same issue when trying to run the rads. It fires up for 10 seconds and the the boiler shows the error light.

Is there any troubleshooting I can try before the gas engineer comes out again in a few days time?

I've read online it could be air trapped in the copper pipes because I've had the pipes rerouted.

All the radiators have been bled and the system adequately pressurised.

Its a baxi 105 he

Cheers

I think that your name on here as crazyfool is perfect, why would you expect an electrician to sort your problem ?

I didn't Lol
The gas engineer did.

I did what the gas engineer said and called the electrician.
The electrician managed to get the boiler partially working.
