Hot water problem

Tony what does the extra £20 involve ? does it depend how far away it is on the bus ?
Cost of diaphragm plus bus fare .........obviously the time involved collecting any parts would be included within the £126 quoted....bus fare also inclusive although an Oyster card would be the way to go..

The extra £20 is for when it needs a new demand switch.

I would take a new diaphragm and switch with me. At my prices I cannot afford to go chasing spare parts!

If the HW demand switch is not operated then I would have expected that it would run on preheat all the time the store temp is depleted.

I would have had one to test it out with but I cut off the gas supply a few days ago.

Tony even for you that is Bizarre are you on the wine ? how could you have cut off the gas supply when you have never been to the job ?

I am drinking some nice South African Pinotage at 14%, but that is irrelevant!

I said that I would have had "one" to test. But have disconnected the gas.

Not the one belonging to the OP, but another one which I am replacing with an Intergas.
