hot water takes ages to get hot!

Got a combination boiler, which I have had a few problems with but is working ok now. Since it was last fixed, the hot water has been acting differently - I have to run the hot tap for a long time at full strength for 20 seconds before the boiler actually kicks in and starts to heat the water. Before, it used to do it instantly.

Any idea on what I could do to get it back to how it used to be?

what's the hot water setting set to on the boiler?

it might be the diverter valve diaphragm is failing...
