Only been doing this job for 29 and a half years, but never, until today have I seen a towel rail be heated with domestic hot water!
I've had plenty of customers that think there towel rails are been heated by dhw.
So when elderly customer explains that that the towel rail was been heated with dhw I do the usual explaining that its the primary side of heating circuits etc.....
Customer insists that its the actual DHW heating the rail.....
I said "Ill eat my hat"..... A stupid thing to say.....
The DHW had a gravity circulation circuit up to the bathroom through the towel rail...an old ideal standard towel rail in chromed copper or brass!
Now back to eating hat....
