Hello, I'm looking for some help regarding my Hotpoint Aquarius FDL 570 P that started failing after a kitchen fuse was triggered.

The salt, rinse aid, start/pause and drying indicators begin to flash midway.

The wash / rinse cycle appears to run OK, but the water runs cold, so I suspect there's a problem with the heating element.

Any ideas on what could be the problem / how to fix?

Thanks!

Dunno how good are you at taking it apart. Tip mc on it's back remove the base and remove the heater and circa pump. They are joined together twist off heater and replace , google for the part and cost first.

Found the part online, ~£40. Do you know if I could check if this is the fault / nothing else is broken?

I also noticed now that the lights start flashing by themselves after a while, even when the machine is off...

Update: I've taken the heating unit out. I'll order a new one and hopefully that'll sort things out. Thanks rocks1!

Did you manage to fix the problem with your dishwasher? Only mine has just started to do the exact same thing!
