Hoping someone can help

The dishwasher turns on and fills with water. It then sounds like the water is being heated but that's as far as it gets. It keeps on repeating this cycle. One light flashes which is the wash/3hr light.

When it is turned off the water is pumped away.

I've tried tipping it every which way, checked the hose and the pump for a blockage but to no avail.

Any ideas and what it may cost?

Cheers

If it's not spraying water round circulation pump has gone. Cost about 40 quid

Hi

Thanks very much for your quick reply. Is this a reasonable job for a competent diy'er to carry out?

Thanks

Very easy. Unclip the base undo the two clips on the pump and heater the pump just twists off from the heater. You will need two jubilee clips to resemble as the old ones are factory made. Any car spare shop will sell them.
