Hotpoint Aquarius Washer/Dryer

Hi,

Since having my whole house replumbed the washing machine has started to leak, the whole water pressure has increased but that may be a red herring.

As soon as I switch the machine on it starts to fill then after about 30 seconds water starts pouring out of the drawer. I've taken a look inside and had the pipe off that goes into drum, its not blocked.

I've looked through this forum and a similar post suggested that it might be a broken air switch or a blockd pipe to the air switch.

Would that be correct ?

not in this case. how old is the wd?

Its about 6 to 7 years old.

you will have to call hotpoint to get them to fix it, there was a "kit" to prevent this.

alternatively turn the cold fill valve tap down a bit

I think I'll just turn down the valves then, by the time hotpoint come out and fix it I might aswell of bought a new one.
