we have a Hotpoint FDM 550 dishwasher, about 2.5 years old, but used minimally.
Recently when we start it up it starts as normal, but after a while, some point after releasing the tablet, it just moves to drying before having even heated the water up - almost like it was doing a rinse cycle.
It did this for a while, but then started working again so cant be the heating element, it seems to be an intermittent fault as it has now returned and we cannot work out why sometimes it runs normally and heats up, and other times it doesn't, unless it is simply a fault on the selector knob.
I saw another similar post but no response to it, any ideas?
