Hotpoint Dishwasher FDW20 - Salt Light

For the last couple of weeks the salt light has been flashing when the power is turned on. The light goes out when the program starts and flashes again when the program ends. I have kept the salt topped up but the light still flashes.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

dont worry about it , it cycles 29 times to check salt level before it settles down .
