Hotpoint FDW60

Is there a 'Cancel' button, try this first then select a programme again. What happens? Then try a rinse only programme. What happens?

Check drain pump, waste hose and sink 'U' bend(or wherever the waste hose connects) for blockages. Probably make sense to work your way back from the 'U' bend.

If no joy with above next step is to pull the machine out and begin removing panels to investigate.

Thank you. Checked the drain pump, waste hose and sink u bend and all seems ok. Will put it back together and try rinse only programme first... If that doesn't work, will try your final suggestion! Many thanks again..

Found this site after searching the "Eco Light" issue on our 13yr old FDW60. After initially following the guidance on here the issue remained. The final time after tipping 45 degrees and having the Thames come out for a third time, removed the bottom cover. I noticed two things, firstly the plastic nut underneath the bottom spray bar had come loose which was where the water was leaking through and secondly after removing the drain pump to check for debris, noticed the drain hose also had a very small split in it. Therefore afterter a bit of patience and less than a fiver later have a fully working dishwasher again. Thanks..

Hi, had the same problem, 45c and salt refil flashing, followed tips here, tipped machine and a cupfull of water came out, this cleared the fault, but 2 washes later, same problem. The cause of the water dripping into the tray was the water spray arm at the bottom, its retaining nut was slightly loose. Tightened it by hand, and its worked fine since.

Ive added a picture with arrow pointing to the white nut the is often the culprit.
