Hi got a problem with my fridge freezer, it appears the fan doesn't work, then the fridge warms up, and teh freezer defrosts. If i put the FF (Fast Freeze) button on, the fan kicks in and it starts to cool down. If the FF is switched off the fan will stop, despite it not being at the set temperature. The unit is 6 years old, any ideas?
Fan fault? clogged up internal air ways? possible thermostat?

Any of the above easy to get to/fix?

Do a total defrost 4 24 hrs or remove rear panel in the freezer and clear ice from the rear duct.

Do you think that's all it is? blocked up with ice? if so why does it work when the FF is on?

Compresor runs all the time to build up ice when on ff this overrides the stat

oh ok, so do you think the area in which the thermostat sits in is getting iced up and giving out a false temp then?

Yes the thermostat is part of the pcb

thanks for the advise.. time to re-allocate all our food then and turn off the fridge.. i'll keep you posted.
