Hotpoint Oven - fan takes a while to kick in

Hi all,
When I switch my oven on the fan doesn't come on straight away. It can take quite a few seconds to come on (it used to be instant).
Is it likely to be the fan motor that needs replacing or could it be something else?

Possibly a build up of grease behind the fan blades that needs cleaning off.
