hotpoint sdw60 problem

I have one of these, about 18months old, and it has started jumping from the main programme (normal) onto delicate setting and stopping there. Have tried using eco setting instead of normal but it still jumps.

at all times not completing the wash. The only way to then reset the machine is to power it off at the mains and leave it for a while
