hotpoint tl52 dyer not heat

hi my dyer has no heat so i have taken the back off to look at the element and it dosent look burnt but ill test for continuity soon as i fine my tester but i have noticed two thermostarts just above it is it possible one has failed and would this cause no heat ,is there any way of testing these please
