When i tried to replace the door hinge on our washing machine the plate behind the door into which you screw fell down as i didnt have hold of it. Anyone got any ideas now how i can get it or fix the machine without it? I cant get at any of the machine apart from the front. Thanks

Unplug the machine. Tip it back about 45 degrees and find the part you dropped.
To replace the hinge, put the machine back upright, take the door seal off the front panel and you'll be able to hold the part you dropped while you screw the door back on. Once fitted, refit the door seal.

as above, but i only ever took the door seal off by the hinge (but you still have to remove the seal reatiner)
