Hi,
My Dad's got a Hotpoint WMF720p and it no longer powers up at all (no lights whatsoever). Checked the socket and fuse and all is ok.
I'm wondering whether this model has another internal fuse that may have blown???
Cheers!!!

Then maybe pcb has failed, this will have its own resistors that may have burnt out as well. Only an inspection could really identify fault.

As Blup says, probably faulty pcb. If you can establish there is a supply to it then it is most likely faulty. This company may be able to repair it for you http://www.emwelec.co.uk or you will need to call out a hotpoint engineer, they used to have a reasonably priced parts & labour call out charge but not sure what it is currently.

Thanks all. Checked the power coming in and coming out of the supply filter to the PCB. All was ok. So suspect PCB.
Considering the age of the machine and the fact there is no guarantee it is the PCB, decided to go for a new machine.
Thanks for all your help.
