Hotpoint WD420 Flashing Lights

This morning my Hotpoint WD420 stopped working and the Reduce Creases & Time Saver lights were flashing. After a bit of research i discovered this could mean a blocked drainage pipe. Sure enough the pipe was full of coins, a hex key! and other bits of god knows what.

Thinking the problem was solved i gave the machine a try. It fills with water then nothing then the on/off light and the Time Saver light flash constantly.

Any ideas please?
