Hi there as the title says we have this machine and has developed a fault where as it seems to be finishing to early and most but not all of the water is getting drained away and the washing doesn't seem as clean as it would normally... It has the rinse/hold (3rd down on left) flashing and the on/off flashing I would be greatfull if anybody could translate this for me? I have taken the filter out at the rear and made £1.30 and a couple I other bits! When I found this I thaught that was the problem but I'm not so lucky! I have taken out the pcb tonight and there is a scorch around 3 capacitors and a couple of diodes, a coil? And a small chip now I have tested the diodes and capacitors the best I can and all seem well..? I wouldn't know how to test the chip though, I can't see and breaks in the tracks around there either, I got hold of the 2 wires that go to the tacko on motor and they came away realy easy so I'm going to solder them up tomorrow lunch and hope... But could this cause the problem? I'm not real clued up on white goods but been a car mechanic/tester for many years so I have knowledge on repairing things, I will thankyou in advance am hope I am get this thing working again!!

Yes that error means taco , resolder and should be ok. Unless its taken out the pcb.

Thanks for that! I've just come home for dinner and taken motor out so I will solder up this afternoon and hope for the best!

You can get a new taco with wires for a fiver part number c00278784.

Nice one thanks I will remember that, all is good now though, the solder repair has worked, may get a treat later... Never know!!
