Hi there

I need some help!

The motor on our wd61 is not turning. When it stopped working i found that the adjustable mounting bracket had snapped and the belt fallen off. Made a new bracket and refitted the motor - still it would not turn. So I metered the motor and got continuity. I then traced back through the loom towards the control pcb and came across an inline fuse. It has blown.

So the problem I have is identifying the fuse (it has totally disintgrated). I dont even know what size it is. Best of all hotpoint service center cant tell me what it is!

Thanks

2 amp glass fuse .check moter brushes not worn down

Thanks Rocks1.

Is it supposed to be an anti surge fuse or not?

I checked the brushes ( 20+mm left) and gave the commutator a quick clean while the motor was out.

any glass fuse will do 2 amp anti surge not important
