Hi Peeps.
Heating element for Dryer went so I brought a complete heater box for £67 (inc Post) from a spares company.
Installed today, quick run on dryer then rinse to wash away any debris that mite have been blown in to drum.
switched off (machine button not mains), 10 mins later its turned back on (by its self) and flashing 'F-20'.
I had to go to work, I asked my wife to chuck a blanket in and she said after 10mins there was no power. Mains on eta, I assume this has blown the fuse.
I checked the Hotpoint site and it claims the error code is a Filter blockage? Why would it allow to run and why pop the fuse?
Also the new dryer box is for a later model, but the guy said they are still compatable, just a has a different style heating element in it.
Has anyone had this problem? there isn't much on the net for this error code.
