hotpoint WF340 washing machine winking

my washing machine start button is blinking with the wash enhance (first button from top) and mini load button (fourth button from top) blinking as well. I can open the door. Any advice on how i can get it working.

According to the error code list this is error code 9, eprom programme error.
These machines have a 5 year parts warranty so it might be worth getting Hotpoint to repair it. The eprom can be re-programmed using a laptop but if it needs to be renewed you may need a complete circuit board. This is because the original chip is a surface mount type, soldered onto the PCB but the replacement ones are a plug in device.
