Four year old machine not starting programmes. "Door Locked" light NOT coming on although door is locking and have to wait a couple of minutes before it will open, as normal. Have cheked water input, all OK.

By this do you mean water is entering the machine when you set the programme?
If yes but nothing else is happening it may be that you need a new set of brushes for the motor. Have they ever been replaced in the 4 years you have had the machine? If not then they are probably due fro renewal. For someone to come and fit a new set I think you will be looking at about £30-£40.
Ask at your local Domestic Appliance Repair store for some advice and a quote to repair the machine.
