hi , my hotpoint wf 440 keeps going through the wash cycle continuously and we have to turn it off and use a rinse cycle to finish off the wash ? could it be the circuit board ? help

It could be. Mind you it could also just be the software.
5 year parts warranty on your machine.
Worth calling Indesit (Hotpoint) to check.

Hi. Did you manage to get this problem fixed as my WF440 is doing the same sticking on the wash cycle. Thanks.

you have a heater fault .heater needs replaceing cost about 30 quid for heater

I'll take your advice rocks1, thanks for that - is the replacement of the heater a straight forward thing? I can see it at the rear, is that where it comes in and out of?

thanks

chaddo1 only made the one post the rest of you have hi jacked it (added your post to some one elses query)

chaddo1 can not reply to you (since he only made the 1 post)
it also does not mean that you have the same cause, although you have a similar problem.

I suggest that you start your own post, do not hi jack other peoples posts

You have many posts and you're obviously a regular on here.

That was my first post and to be reprimanded like a child brings into question your manners.

If that's the best you can do, please do not converse with me

New heating element fitted and working fine again! Many thanks.
