Hotpoint wf540 washing machine

On/Off lights were flashing, have cleaned the filter and now final spin light comes on when machine is turned on but machine does nothing, HELP!

They were before we cleaned the filter but not now

unplug mc for 2 mins then set prog on pump out does the pump come on

No, nothing happens and final sppin light is still on

looks like you have something jammed in the pump hairclip/ coin .unclip pump and pull of the two hoses and flick impeller see if it turns

when u cleaned filter at the front and unscrewed the cap look inside you will see a white impeller give it a flick round and see if it turns .if its jammed take the 2 screws off and pump drops down,then you can see whats in it

we followed your instructions for Lisa R. and cleaned filter at the back, where is the filter at the front/

ahhh this filter is at the back ,right next to it is the pump with the grey outlet pipe /waste unclip it and look inside the pump ,thats were the prob is

Trying now but not sure how to unclip the pump

grasp pump in hand and pull to the left at 9 oclock tilt mc forward and you will see clip underneath
