Hotpoint WM55 Door wont lock

Hiya,

The other day, a big spark came from the side of the machine and tripped the power in the house. After that it wouldn't unlock, so we took the top off and got it open. Has been ok since.
This morning the door lock won't engage. I have checked the spring in the door is going all the way and it is.
Could this be something electrical? Is it worth fixing? We paid £80 for it 3 weeks ago 2nd hand... It is physically in very good condition, but dont want to spend much on fixing it as it does get noisy on max spin. So maybe another issue there.

Needs a new door lock. And it's blown the track on the pcb. As for noise that's the drum bearings on way out. It is 14 years old.
