I have a strange problem with a Hotpoint Ultima WMA60 machine which will fill, wash but won't spin. It begins to spin up then slows and stops, tries again with the same result. The display changes back to 'On' the lock light flashes and the machine drains and eventually unlocks the door. Is this likely to be a PCB or motor issue? The motor brushes have already been checked and it seems in good order.

Like my friend above, I have this problem also.
The machine goes thru' its normal cycle, even spinning during the rinse cycle, but will not complete its full journey, by refusing to operate during the spin cycle.
Is it a board or timer problem????
