The bearings on my Hotpoint WMD962 washer sound like they are on the way out. I was wondering if it is worth the effort doing the job or paying for a repair? Looking online you cannot buy just the bearings & have to replace the whole drum unit which looks like a big job and the part alone seems to be about £100.00. The washer itself is less than 5 years old which seems no age but it only cost £300 so seems crazy spending too much on it.
Any advice would be greatly received.
