The fridge in combined fridge/freezers normally pulls cold air up from the freezer with a fan, the fridge thermostat will control this fan.
A warm fridge is often caused by the evaporator in the freezer icing up and restricting the airflow into the fridge compartment.
De-ice the freezer thoroughly and you should have a cheap fix.
