How’s Rachael from accounts getting on…..

i see she has now altered her linkedin profile after someone done basic maths for her

I know my own LinkedIn profile is not accurate, but not through anything nefarious on my part.
I clearly just did something wrong at the start, and am long past caring about doing anything about it :D

I get a spate of "Congratulations on your work anniversary!" messages, months away from my actual work anniversary :ROFLMAO:

Classic guilt by association on HBOS. Hardly Trumpf carving up Europe or the Middle East. But tne human brain can get more angry about a smear story on taxi expenses than it can on sovietamerican geo politics.

I wonder what pootins linked in profile will look like in 6 months.

Its not a smear story if 1. she did lie on her CV - Fact and 2 she appears to have purchased gifts for her colleagues including handbags, meals and purfume for her boss who signed off the expenses. If this was a round robin setup, then the expense would not be appropriate. For me gifts to staff aren't necessarily out of whack, but I would never expense leaving gifts. I would however consider claiming the tax back in my self assessment.

Politics / politicians reflect ( may be ) society

So to cut to the chase

Most / majority ? Of the population are or have been on the fiddle at one time or another ;)

Of course There are exceptions to this

Unfortunately It would appear that responsible people like my good self  are in a minority

I remember when I worked away for a new company, I submitted my expense form and the boss called me into his office and told me to fill in a new one and treble the amounts, the excess went into the office party fund

A lie, an oversight more likely. Saying you worked a few months longer than you did for the dysfunctional BoE during this pre-austerity period isn't exactly showering yourself with praise. "Best part of a decade" is stretching it though.

On expenses , she was was working for a (recklessly run) private sector commercial bank where there were bonuses, and generous expenses for pretty much everything and everyone. Being reimbursed for buying the boss a handbag etc (if that was the case) would have fitted in that culture.

I suspect the Sunday papers will be dripping more poison, as they do with these stories now.

All went pear shaped years ago

Most / all jobs had perks

Than some one some where decided to change the meaning of the word Perks to theft

Yes exactly

Innocent people could be prosecuted for Perks

:giggle:

It would be an oversight if it was out by a few months, but it wasn’t, so isn’t.
